Let's just say the joke's on us now! :P

Morning of April 9, 2008 :P

You know that joke we played on April Fool's Day? Well, let's just say the joke's on us now! It's true and absolutely no joke now! We really are expecting a little blessed bundle of joy and so excited! I just had this feeling and since aunt flow had been MIA, I went and got a test (which was a small adventure at Smiths - where do you think they keep the pregnancy tests?). The instructions recommended taking it in the morning for best results but the not so good thing about taking such a test in the morning is that it'll change everything for the rest of the day besides the rest of our lives! A blood test at the Student Wellness Center confirmed the pregnancy, too. And we skipped the rest of our classes for the rest of the day because all this excitement had me tuckered and not feeling likeI could attempt to focus on lectures for while such a momentous ocassion has just happened (how will I make it through the rest of the semester?! Oh well, only two more weeks and then finals.). Most members of both families know now and so I guess it's on to letting others share in the excitement too. This will be the very first grandchild for my parents and the third for Eric's parents. Oh my! We are especially thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed us with this new adventure in life and pray that all may go well.
